Stupid ddog mistakes you care to admit to..

Omg realised I tried to pick one of ddogs nipples off yesterday thinking it was a scab!!

Ddog 3 and ddog 4 have been enjoying way too much rough and tumble lately... Saw a tooth graze on ddog 4 and a round scab.. Had a quick scrape to check if it needed antiseptic.
Shouted of dh and he found a load more!!
How bloody stupid am I??
Tbf her markings make them look on her side not on her underneath..

I got tick remover and with eyes half closed removed a skin tag! I can only say I absolutely hate ticks and wasn't getting close enough to investigate properly.

I took the dogs for a long countryside ramble. It was to be a full day affair, so I packed towels, water, bowls.
Got the dogs sorted, pratted aroind last minute grabbing poo bags from the garage and set off.
Drove for 50 minutes, got out of the car and the boot was empty.
Drove home in 35 minutes to find girl labrador still sitting on drive and boy labrador fast asleep on the front lawn.
We just had a walk from the house that day.....

Letting puppy play with a football!
As soon as he got full size he can bite and burst a football in seconds - he can also spot one a mile away!
I wish we had stuck to Tennis balls!

We found out we first underfed our puppy by two thirds for the first three days. We based his food on his current weight and didn’t realise the packet said adult weight, which I think is weird as we didn’t know what he’d weigh as an adult. When we realised I felt so bad and dumped loads straight out the packet for him!

Once took husky dpuppy out wearing her first off the shelf harness. Looked down at the empty harness... She had reversed out of it..
A neat trick... Luckily she hadn't noticed she was loose!! Buy made to measure now!

One morning the dog rolled over and had a some ' ahem ' morning glory. But it wasn't like any other dog willies I'd seen. It was sort of cobra shaped and bobbly. It looked weird. I ran downstairs in tears that there was something else wrong with the dog.

In fairness, he's a dog with some health issues anyway so I was already stressed about them. But still. Turns out that's just his willy.
