Eek - why has DPup suddenly decided pissing on the sofa is good?

DPup is a week shy of 5 months.

Thought we were finally cracking toilet training. Okay, she still has one or two accidents indoors but pretty much all her wees are now outdoors.

She has never pissed on the furniture.

Yesterday she leaped on the sofa and pee-ed there - quite deliberately (assumed the position, back paws spread, wasn't an over-excited loss of control). Sprayed, mopped, blanket washed.

This morning I got up. Usual routine - out of cage, into back yard, cuddle. Then instead of wee she bolted in the house, hopped on the sofa, started to pee - I lifted her off. Tried to get her into collar and lead to get her out the front door - she ran upstairs, tried to pee on landing - lifted her up. Ran downstairs and back onto sofa, started to pee yet again - lifted her off.

Finally got her out the front door for a very long walk.

She has also been being an utter pain in the arse all morning despite the long walk.

Any thoughts as to what is wrong? (Or what I'm doing wrong?)

Could she have a UTI? Peeing inside is a key sign - I'd take her to the vets.

I’d take her to the vets, I’d suspect she’s in a little pain and there’s an issue there,

Agree that you might need the vet to check - also you'll need an enzymatic cleaner to fully get rid of the scent so pup doesn't have the urge to re mark it.

Thanks all - just back from another walk and funnily enough, the frequency with which she was wee-ing did make the penny drop, and I was thinking "UTI?" I'll give the vet a ring.

We practically have shares in enzyme cleaner, Tilly Grin Sofa pads thoroughly sprayed, loose covers in the wash (cold rinse first with enzyme cleaner sprayed all over them).

Hope she's okay! She'll likely just need a course of antibiotics - UTI's tend to clear up pretty quickly if they're caught early :)
