Sorry it’s so gross
🤢

Do I need to see the vet?

She did an absolutely enormous (solid) poo earlier then it got progressively softer and finished up liquid.

I wiped her bum and she leaked a small bit of poo over her blanket, I’ve put that blanket in the wash and she’s done it again, in two different spots on the new blanket then got up and walked dropping a tiny drop of semi solid poo on my carpet.

For context, she’s an ‘old’ dog at 8 but very healthy and lively.
I think the cause was giving too much dinner yesterday.

I’m just a bit worried, and revolted, at the ongoing leakage.

Personally, I'd wait and see how she is if you think she's just been overfed.

Just don't give her anything except water for a while.

Maybe she was constipated or had to strain, how is she otherwise, it's not pleasant for her poor thing, would she tolerate a nice warm bath. If you're worried call the vet nurse for advice. Try not to feel revolted, she cannot help it.

She seems absolutely fine in herself, she’s not lethargic or anything.
