Dachshund names?

We're due to pick up our little black and tan girl next month, and just wondered if anybody might be able to help us with some name suggestions? We have a very long list - but we're still struggling to agree our previous dachshunds have all had food names, so it would be nice to continue the theme, but we wouldn't say no to a non foodie name if it was 'the one'

My friend’s sister had a sausage dog called Ian

I know someone with a sausage dog called sizzle, and also another one called ziggy, both of them are all tan.

We have a mini dachshund called Noodle (to complement her rabbit siblings Muffin and Pancake).

Strudel and Crumpet also made the shortlist, and I’ve heard of a Pretzel since which I love!

Thank you so much for all of your suggestions, they were all brilliant ! We are 99% sure that we're going with Schnitzel (Schnitzel Von Krumm ) which is a name we'd never have really thought about or used otherwise - but now fallen in love with, thanks to you lovely lot!

I have a mini called Evie von Strudel - I think all dachsies benefit from a full name!

My daughters is Frank. Frank Furter.

I met a sausage recently called Linda "after the vegetarian sausages" which was frankly adorable

I knew a Tilley who a dachshund. The name suited her.

Our new addition is called "Neville" ❤

Schnitzel Von Crumb is a boy and sausage names are very obvious. Call her something you just like the sound of and tell everyone how to spell dachshund because half their owners can’t.
