It's time to say goodbye

Absolutely devastated but I know it's time to do the right thing and let my little girl go. She's suffering and we've tried everything, we have an appointment later this evening with our vets.
She's been with me through thick and thin, child birth, divorce and the loss of my son. The best companion I could ever have asked for, I just hope she knows how much she's loved

Thank-you everyone, my little girl passed away peacefully in my arms, it was quick and painless.
Absolutely heartbroken this evening but I did the right thing, she was suffering & didn't deserve that.
Off to bed soon that will hit hard as she's been by my side for the last 16 years each and every night

Huge hugs to you. It’s the only bad part of having a dog, that final heartbreak. But how lovely for her to have a long, fulfilling life and to drift off safe in the arms of someone that adores you

I feel for you so much. My little girl may not last the night either.
She’s been by my side through 15 years of raising an SEN child, just the 3 of us. I don’t know how I’ll cope without her.
