Hi, I'm a ftm with 6 week old baby. We also have a 9 year old border terrier who has been our "baby" for 9 years... meaning he is a bit spoilt!! He's well-behaved around the baby, keeps away for the most part, and has a good temperament. The issue is... he's obsessed with soft toys, squeaky toys, etc and obviously can't differentiate between his own dog toys and baby toys - he wants them all! To the point where he whines and whines when he can see / smell one, and grabs them if he can. How do we train this out of him? It's going to become more of an issue as baby gets older...
