Anyone got a decent air purifier recommendation to help with a wiffy dog!

We don’t have any air purifiers but we do have a couple of lavender bags on top of each radiator which leaves the whole nicely perfumed.
I think as much hardwood and leather as possible helps too, fabric holds stink imo

It depends why your dog smells. Sometimes its the food they are on. An example is if you ate garlic you would smell. Look at your dogs food. The only time my dogs smell is if they are wet. I have a wax melt. I find yankee candle wax melts do the trick.

A lot of essential oil thingies are dodgy for dogs.

I use good old fashioned joss sticks.

I have 2 of these, one between the kitchen and utility room (where the cat litter tray is) which really does help remove cooking/cat smells, takes time of course and needs to be left on whenever windows aren't open.
The other is in the living/dining room as we keep the door closed and spend most of our time in there so can get fusty, stays on overnight and by next morning fustyness has gone

I need one too but no pennies right now. Our dog seems to be getting very whiffy

GhostPepperTears · 13/01/2021 13:53

Ah, was coming to reccommend the Levoit ones!

KerryBer · 28/05/2021 17:27

We also have a Levoit air purifier (our model is LV-H133). We have a dog. Also, our neighbors are smokers and that smell sometimes comes to our apartment. I hate such smells in my home. I should say, this air purifier works well, and I'm pleased with it. By the way, if someone is in search, here is a good review of the most popular brands and models indoor2outdoor.com/best-air-purifier-for-smoke/. It helped me make the choice. Maybe it will be useful for someone else.

The only time my dogs smell is when wet. I swear by incense sticks and opening windows and changing throws that they sleep on.

We have a neom electric oil diffuser, and it smells fantastic.

How old is your dog OP? And how are their teeth/gums?
In my experience it's often poor oral health that can be the issue.
