Hi everyone,

I'm a longtime lurker on this board but haven't had a doggo of my own to post about. DP and I have been wanting a dog for a while but waiting for the right time. We wanted to adopt but have a cat and were struggling to find a cat friendly one so had started looking at puppies...

BUT

Last night I came across the most beautiful 9 year old boy. He's in foster about 50 miles from us and is brilliant with cats and other dogs (important as we spend lots of time with family who have them) and he's GORGEOUS. His owner passed away and he's been in foster for around 6 months. We put in an application last night and are waiting to hear back.

I'm crossing everything... worried I've fallen in love too soon and he'll already be reserved. Please send lucky vibes and thoughts- I've already mentally decided where his bed would go...

Ah, good luck - fingers crossed it all works out for you. He sounds lovely :)

Yes fingers crossed - what type/breed is he?

cittabassa · 21/12/2020 09:49

I do hope you get him. He sounds ideal for you.

Still no news sadly. He's a Labrador cross but has a floofy tail!

Still not heard? What a shame. I hope they at least acknowledge your application soon.

I've just realised I never came back to this thread! Our boy has been home since the end of January. He is an absolute dream and we love him so so much!
