dog licking paw frequently - trip to vet?

My dog has recently started licking her paw more then normal. I would not say its ALL the time, but we have definitely noticed. It seems to be one paw, she shows a tiny tiny limp sometimes...but this is hard to detect. We tried to look and don't see anything. But she also pulls away and her fur makes it difficult to get a good look.

Is this something I need to take her to the vet for or wait and see?

When our dog was doing this, it turned out he had a nail bed infection and needed antibiotics

Okay, thanks for the feedback, will call the vet tomorrow and book an appointment. Better to get it checked, especially w the holidays coming up!

If you’re really unable to have a good look yourself at her paw yourself and see if there’s a foreign object then I’d probably take her to the vet just in case.
