Pup with runny bum tips please

Pup had a really bad bout of runs day after vaccine I gave him a dose of tummy medicine for dogs and it cleared it up. Poo been great all day but this evening he had runs agaiin

He had normal breeders kibble but we did give him an Aldi dentastix about 5 hours previously. Maybe it was that?

Any tips?

Probably best to ask the vet over the phone but I’ve always given plain cooked white rice or scrambled eggs. After a day or two plain cooked chicken
Be really careful about dehydration as it very easy for dogs to become dehydrated. We now keep salt free stock cubes just to get an unwell dog to drink

Rice and chicken for 2 days. My dog has IBD and a very delicate constitution. Verm-X daily seems to help.

I agree with plain cooked chicken an rice for a day to bulk up /fibre .

All brands of dentastix seem to give my pup the runs, pedigree been the worst. I give chicken and prokolin or the vetuk own.brand to clear it up

Protaxin Pro Kolin is good - you can buy it from the vets but it’s half the price online.

Thanks. He seems better today Really starting to think it was the dentastix. No more of them for a while.
