Advice on flea/tick meds

Hi all,
Finding it a bit confusing with the different flea tick working schedules.
The vet has given me a box of 'simparica trio' which she says to take 1 a month.

Am i right in saying I don't need to give any additional medications?

I think this covers flea/tick and worms?

It's all a bit confusing as there are so many different medications.

Not a medic and could be wrong but I dont think it cover tapeworm
