Hi A lot of you were very helpful recently so I wondered if anyone local to Wisbech know anything about this breeder. They are licensed but i can't find a lot online. Has anyone had any dealing with them. There is a boarding kennel as well called Dee dees. Thank you.

Only thing I can find is an out of date website. Selling different breeds.
How did you find them and what do you want?

She breeds various dogs with a level 2 star rating. I'm a bit nervous so wondered if anyone had direct experience with the place. There is a large boarding kennel and grooming right next door and Mumsnet always has the answers so I thought it's was worth asking on here.

Decent breeders generally stick to breeding one main breed. How many dogs are they licensed to keep?
If you want a pedigree then contact the breed club. I don’t understand what the star rating relates to.

I know a local dog breeder. I have messaged them. What breed are they offering and where did you find them?

whenwillthemadnessend · 29/11/2020 21:52

They breed about 5 different breeds so it's all a bit worrying.

So avoid them? What are you looking for?

SBTLove · 29/11/2020 21:56

5 breeds? sounds like a puppy mill, steer clear.

I am only 20 miles from Wisbech and never heard of them. There are a couple of Wisbech discussion pages on Facebook you could join to ask people who may be more help?

Thanks those that have responded. Wolfie Please do let me know what your contact says. DM me if you prefer.

Will do.
If they offer a variety of cross breeds then avoid.
If they advertise on pets4homes then avoid.
If they are licensed for lots of dogs then avoid.
I would rescue or go through the breed club. Personally I wouldn’t have a popular crossbreed because people breed them solely for money.

5 breeds? That's a nope from me.

I'm usually quite tolerant of the sort of breeders who get damned by this board, but 5 breeds = breeding on a commercial scale. It used to be that licensing meant a commercial enterprise, but since the law changed it's no longer an instant and obvious strike against a breeder.
