Our dog who is a 10 year old border terrier had a stomach bug she couldn’t quite shake off - kept getting better, then it would come back.
She’s since had a course of antibiotics which ended today. She’s had anti sickness tablets too.
She’s not enjoying her food - eating a bit of ham, which we wrap around the tablets so she will take them, but not keen on her normal food. She will have a biscuit and was not too bad on her walk today - slow but seemed happy.
Could it be the antibiotics making her lethargic and off her food? I see that lethargy and loss of appetite can be a side effect but wasn’t such if this was common or rare?
I feel like this has really knocked the stuffing out of her and I’m worried she’s slowing down now she’s 10. She’s normally full of cheeky fun - she’s very snuggly though
