For the last maybe 3-4 weeks DDog seems very quiet and a bit sad. He stays in his bed most of the day and sleeps.
He will come through to the kitchen with me for a treat when I call him but it takes him an age and he potters through, doesn't come hurtling through the house like he used to do.
I've had him to the vet, all blood tests normal, teeth ok, no evidence of arthritis.
He doesn't want to go for a walk.
He is a 12 yr old Lhasa apso, we would expect him to slow down a bit, but this is quite sudden?
All we can think is possibly the fireworks (which he hates) have upset him, or he has given up all hope of seeing the 3 DV again (as they moved to uni mid Sept and we havent seen them since).
How can we help him? Or is this normal? The slowing down?
