Male dog hair loss after castration

Hi all

I had my 4 Yr old male GSD castrated around 3 months ago. I have noticed in the past month excessive hair shed, no change in behaviour, no apparent skin conditions, nothing different apart from the hair shed.
Does anyone know if the castration and hair loss could be linked x

It can. I had this with my springer. I hoovered a lot after he was done, at times it was like a carpet of hair. Can’t imagine what it’s like for a gsd. I don’t know about the gsd specifically, but there’s bound to be a friendly Facebook that would help you
