Can anyone recommend a warm dog coat with a harness hole?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a coat for my dog who is a complete wuss about wintery weather but I can't seem to find a good one with a hole for his lead to attach to his harness (he doesn't wear a collar)

Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks

I find Hurtta really good for quality and warmth.

This hurtta one says it has harness access on the back.

This is the warmer version.

Having just done a quick Google, I think maybe all their newer range have harness access. It’s worth checking anyway.

Forgot, someone recommended a Rukka coat to me recently. This one has harness access.

we have these as hard to find any big enough for our dog

I went at it the other way, bought Small Dog a coat and a new, larger, harness that fits over the top. There's a lot more choice at a lower price that way.

Equafleece. They say most harnesses fit over them but, if not, once you are sure the coat fits your dog and you want to keep it, you mark where you want the harness hole and they'll do it for you.

Search “ dog coat with harness hole” on amazon, there are loads.I’ve bought a few different ones from there, some have removable fleeces from a waterproof outer which is very useful to be able to use them in winter or wet days in summer.

I second the huurta. I have a waterproof fleece lined one for my elderly clipped spaniel when it is very cold and wet. It was expensive but it’s a great fit and so snuggly. I like that it comes nicely up around his neck too.

I was also going to say Equafleece , lovely coats and the harness can go over the top easily .
