Please tell me about your dog walking hat!

I'm looking for something to keep my ears warm and that doesn't look ridiculous!

I have a hand knitted beanie that reminds me of my grandma’s tea cosy. Warm? Yes. Doesn’t look ridiculous? Not so much.

I have a scruffy old fleece lined waxed hat with a big floppy brim I can pull down over my ears, waterproof too. Probably look like Vera Stanhope but don’t care

I have few hats. I wear a baseball cap to keep rain off my face if raining. A beanie if its cold.

Can you knit? The 1898 hat in Drops Nepal is the warmest hat I've ever had.

If you want warm ears you might struggle to look stylish though.

Mine's a Heat Holder beanie, big enough to pull over my eyebrows and ears. Not an attractive look but I don't care as long as I'm warm.

I have a couple of knitted caps , warm and the peak keeps the rain off my glasses

If you're walking a dog, it doesn't matter what your hat looks like. Other people (well, any whose opinions are worth having) will be looking at the dog, so anything much above knee or hip height (depending on breed) is invisible.

I have fleece lined bakerboy caps, which come down over my ears and keep the rain off my face when I have my hood up.

Tempted to get a waxed one for more extreme weather, but don’t really need one at the moment as ddog is old and arthritic, so it’s not good for him to go out when the weather is really bad.
