Hi! Our old girl has a couple of fatty lumps in her armpit and I’m worried that her harness is irritating these and becoming uncomfortable.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a harness that doesn’t sit under their armpits but perhaps does up further back around their tummy?
Thank you

Our harness is fleece underneath so lovely and soft made by xtra dog, maybe that would help?

Thank you @Crappyfridays7 I will take a look. Ours is fleece underneath too but the strap that sits on top sometimes twists and looks uncomfortable so maybe a new different make of fleece lined harness would be a good idea. I’ll check them out!

I have harnesses. There are a few sled dog companies that make them made to measure and pad them. Shop bought ones are generic sizes and dogs are all not the same. I get mine padded I walk miles no rubbing and dogs are comfortable. Plus they don't have the cheap plastic connectors that snap like many. Google inner wolf or sass harness.

I have this type though not this make & find it avoids the armpit completely.

And some this style which are equally good for that problem

I really like the Trixie Premium Touring Harness which you can get online on loads of websites.
Really cheap too.
