Dog car seat

We’re about to collect our new dog. He weighs 13kg. Can anyone recommend a crash tested dog seat in the UK. It needs to be one where He is secured into the seat as well as the seat being secured onto the car seat itself. Hope this makes sense.

I don’t think such things exist.
Crate in the boot safest.

Our dog has a car seat belt that clips into the normal seatbelt thingy and attached to his harness it has actually kept him in the back when we had to do a very dramatic emergency stop.

You can't secure a dog into a seat. Seats are human-shaped. Clip him to a seatbelt, or crate him in the back.

If you clip him, make sure he’s in a harness. He could break his neck in a crash if secured with a collar.

Have a google there are a few crash tested (or at least claim to be, I haven't researched them) safety harnesses for in the car in the UK.
