Mega-drool?

I have a nearly-6 month old puppy who for the last 2 nights has been drooling huge puddles. He is definitely teething just now, teeth are shedding and new sabres are coming in - can this be the cause or should i be worried?

I would want to get that checked if he’s extremely drooly. Mine got a bit droolier (already quite drooly) when his big teeth came in but not enormously so, maybe an extra 15%? He definitely got much ‘chewier’ for a bit.

Is he eating and drinking normally? Are his gums pale pink? Any vomiting? Or chance he’s eaten anything iffy? Anything stuck in his mouth (bit of bone or plastic toy wedged)?

At 6mo he’ll have been teething for a while. Sudden and sharp onset of and something like this should be checked out.

Random ‘and’ in there, sorry

Everything else seems ok - appetite and bright enough otherwise.
you’re right though - if he’s the same tomorrow I’ll call the vet

Thanks 😊

How’s he doing today, @Bejazzled?

@JonHammIsMyJamm

How’s he doing today, *@Bejazzled*?
Wee soul - two big teeth came out late last night, he slept right through and woke up bright as a button! He’s completely dry now - thanks for asking Flowers

Oh that’s good! It must’ve been those two big buggers giving him the trouble then. Glad he’s back to normal Smile
