Kong Squeakair ball

Our 15 month old dog has discovered his love for chasing balls on a walk. I am so thankful for this sudden obsession. It has improved his recall to pretty much 100%. I bought an extra ball to throw on rotation. This has encouraged him to bring the ball back to me rather than run off with it. I like the balls on a rope to save me taking a ball chucker. I’d like to get a few spare balls in case he loses his. Ideally I’d like to get some with brightly coloured ropes attached. The balls we use have black rope attached, and I struggle to spot them in long grass. I am considering buying a multipack of Kong Squeakair balls. I think he would absolutely love these. Not sure if I would though. Does the never ending squeaking on a walk become annoying? Should I treat him to these? What do you think?

They are the best!! I buy the three packs as I tend to lose the odd one as my aim isn't great (there are some in trees now!) They are my dog's favourite thing ever, and with the rope you can really throw them far.
The squeak doesn't bother me but it makes my girl happy.. she plays with it by herself quite often, tossing it by the rope and we can play tug with them, throw them. If she's off lead and I need her by my side I just wiggle it and she's there!

@StillMedusa, I’m useless at throwing balls too. I’ve had to cut brambles with secateurs to retrieve stuck balls. My dog’s face says it all when he sees me fighting with stingers and thorns! 😂 You’ve convinced me to buy him some squeaky Kong balls. I’m sure I will tune out of the noise!

I've always found them to be great, and much tougher than cheaper tennis balls. The squeak can be useful if you keep a ball in your pocket - squeak it to bring the dog back if it's off exploring or not listening. I'm a terrible thrower too Wink

If you want to save your arms throwing, we have a special Nerf gun to throw tennis balls for the dog.

My dog loves the Kong balls and they're pretty resilient for tennis balls. The squeak can be really good to get their attention too! Although with my super-chewer the squeak usually dies within a few days... they're still usable for a while after and he still likes squishing the ball though so I'm not fussed.

Hopefully the power of the squeaker will keep him close @GraveyardKerfuffle and @Syrrup 😄
@AuditAngel, my boys would love that sort of thing. They might even come voluntarily with me on a walk. 🤨
