We have a gorgeous rescue, her “birthday” is coming up - next Tuesday .
It will be a year since we first fostered her hence the birthday date.

She has no idea obviously but could do with a trade up from the Aldi memory foam mattress plus bed that we bought in haste.

So - 70x95 cm … as a rough gauge, thank you 😊

Aldi have a gorgeous looking bed at the moment, I've seen it recommended in Greyhound owners' groups. When I looked online the large and xl had gone but might still be available in store.

We have a HiK9 bed for my huge 44kg dog and its been wonderful! He has a folded duvet as a topper (with paw patrol duvet cover 😄)

Project Blu:

They make lovely pet beds out of plastic which would otherwise end up in the sea. 💚

@Roodog I looked at this (online) today! The dark blue with flowers…?

Yes I think it would go in the washing machine fine. They do wash well and dry nice and quickly.

@Roodog thank you yes I saw those, even in the big size she would need about 3 to sprawl 😄

My Greyhound sleeps on a cot mattress with a cot sized fitted sheet and either a single duvet folded into a toddler bed sized cover or a double duvet folded over. With a fluffy blanket on top (and 3 pillows in jersey pillowcases). It's good for her to snuggle into and it's so cheap because anything we buy new bedding wise the old lot goes to the hound. And you can pick stuff up for free or for very little on FB local parent/ buying sites. I put a request for a cot mattress on ours and got 2 for free, people sell cots but most buy new mattresses as per the guidelines so there are often sellers with mattresses they want shot of. She has 2 in her little bedroom under the stairs at the moment because we found one in the loft!

Our dog has a fluffy doughnut bed. He loves it.

It's in his cage of a night but he drags it out and puts it in the living room of a day.

He really likes it.

Yes, Hi K9 are all raised beds, airflow means reduced moisture and smell!

hennaoj · 12/10/2020 23:15

George Barclay dog beds are lovey.

Baavet dog beds are amazing.

They smell faintly of sheep but our old, much missed, rescue settled in hers in two seconds flat and she was really picky. She loved it and our only regret was not finding out about them sooner.
