@darklane

Close but Doberman, not Rottweiler.

Apparently the biggest difference between the two is that a Doberman is led by its owner’s actions and reactions whereas a Rottie will think for itself. I wouldn’t know if that’s true about Rotties but my Dobes definitely follow the pattern.

Darklane · 08/10/2020 22:06

@SilverOtter

Now would have said a greyhound but floppy ears.?
Saluki?

SilverOtter · 08/10/2020 22:19

@Darklane no, not a Saluki. She is a breed with a noble history, but European rather than Middle Eastern in origin.

Peace92 · 08/10/2020 22:21

Lazy,Stubborn and used to eat own poo as a puppy

TashieWoo · 08/10/2020 22:28

Tiny but long legs for his size, hasn’t grown out of squeaking and shrieks hysterically, wees when excited, loves running but loves cuddles even more. The most affectionate dog I’ve ever known.

Peace92 · 08/10/2020 22:30

Labrador Confused

SilverOtter · 08/10/2020 22:50

@TashieWoo Jack Russell?

SophieRaworthsDress · 08/10/2020 23:05

My dog thinks I'm the Queen.

MajesticWhine · 08/10/2020 23:17

@SophieRaworthsDress corgi?

SakiSiam · 08/10/2020 23:40

No, @hopeforlucky3 - my dog's a greyhound. Oh, and he's an idiot. He creeps up right behind you like a ninja, you turn round and you leap with surprise; and he's bloody big dog to trip over.

Chippednailpolish · 08/10/2020 23:52

SilverOtter - Weimaraner? Sounds just like my one.

SophieRaworthsDress · 08/10/2020 23:55

Yes @MajesticWhine

BSintolerant · 09/10/2020 00:02

My beast makes a wide range of noises: singing, grumbling, howling, whining, squeaking and the odd ear-splitting yelp if she wants your attention. She’ll walk for miles and is very inquisitive. She barks loudly if she sees something unfamiliar and can be nervous in new surroundings but she soon finds her feet. She has no fear of big animals and is fascinated by horses.

Darklane · 09/10/2020 07:56

@BSintolerant

Basenji?

Darklane · 09/10/2020 07:58

@Darklane

I have a different breed, just the one. Tiny! My shadow. Comes everywhere with me...I mean everywhere, sofa, car, bed, toilet Grin velcrode to my ankles. In her head she’s a cross between my baby & a BIG dog. I still need the brush every day though......I’m a sucker for dogs who’s hair trails the floor.....glutten for punishment me.
Anyone?
Darklane · 09/10/2020 08:00

@TashieWoo

Chihuahua?

BSintolerant · 09/10/2020 08:09

@Darklane not last time I looked. She’s English (just about).

Shosha1 · 09/10/2020 08:10

Mine is so needy, she has to be touching you at all times. Wont go out in the rain. Enjoys her walks when out but dosnt ask to go out. Sulks if she doent get what she wants.

Darklane · 09/10/2020 08:51

@BSintolerant

I’m obviously complete rubbish at this quoting thing. That wasn’t meant for you.

A terrier of some sort.....Border?

hopeforlucky3 · 09/10/2020 08:53

@BSintolerant border collie?

BSintolerant · 09/10/2020 08:54

Correct! @Darklane

SilverOtter · 09/10/2020 10:04

@Darklane is yours a Bichon?

@Chippednailpolish nooooo not a Weimaraner, but you're in the right ballpark. Same shape, smaller and a different colour😉

SharpLily · 09/10/2020 10:06
