Name suggestions for a whopper please

Hi we are getting a female whippet puppy. The kids want to name her but their suggestions are terrible.

So far the only acceptable suggestion is Bambi (because adult whispers look very dainty and deer like). Any ideas? Thanks in advance

There's a character called Bliss in the film Whip It.

Bambi is good, but actually Whisper might suit. Whopper, not so much.

I think you should call her Whopper.

Ah I was thinking a giant whopper of a puppy great dane or something I always think whippets need gentle names like Lilly or Rosie I know an Italian grey hound called Twinkle she is adorable.

I love the name Zephyr as well for female sighthounds.

Monkey....my next dog is going to be called that, no matter if it is a teeenyweeeeeenyfroufrou thing or a great be giant donkey dog, boy or girl

Either that or i have to work on the children to give my first grandchild that name.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I will discuss them with my DH when I am home. I wanted to call her Scout but no one else is keen. I love Willow but my DDs (aged 6 and 7) say it sounds like Willy!!
