He is 3 5 years old and just hasn't been right throughout lockdown. I really thought it was the food as I did contact the manufacturer who said they changed a few ingredients due to stock shortages.
Meanwhile this whole time it's been a thyroid issue. He started his medication today after blood tests came back positive, his levels are very low.
If anyone has a Lab who has been diagnosed, did they have the tragic expression? His is quite severe and I'm wondering if this will improve.
How much of a change did the medication make. My boy is incredibly lethargic, he battles to walk 2kms without a rest. And his coat isn't shiny and healthy.
I feel awful that I didn't pick up on this sooner. Poor boy has been on such a strict diet, and picked up even more weight because of the thyroid.
