Sleeping in the conservatory?

Obviously not in the height of summer but in other months would this be ok? There is a radiator in there and I’ve put a thermometer in to see what the temp is like so I can monitor it between now and the time we bring puppy home in a few weeks.

why not the lounge?

Unless you are leaving your heating on overnight it definitely won’t be suitable in the winter .

Not a huge amount of space and lounge Is carpeted rather than hard flooring (easier to clean if any accidents!)

Puppies under 6mo old (and elderly dogs) are rubbish at regulating their temp and can become ill quickly if things are too warm or cold. I would keep them in a room that is easier to maintain a regular temp, rather than one that you have to work hard to keep warm or cool.

No, definitely not appropriate.

Mine sleeps in the conservatory by choice. He has his own couch in there. He’s got his own heater for winter, in the summer I’m up early and the back doors get thrown open. The only issue is if I’m going out when it’s hot and I want to lock up. I used to put him in the kitchen when he was a destructive pup, now he’s old enough to be trusted anywhere
