My home is simply swarmed ; Fleas, relationship woes

Dear all ,since last year I got my place fumigated 5 times,disposed off all my precious carpets and half of my furniture too but not been able to get rid of fleas !! In a house of 3 they only bite me and now my family doesn't believe that they are present since they cannot see em. My hubby suffering from Glaucoma and my daughter has eyesight issues too???

I had an infestation recently too, was absolutely horrendous! I don't know if you've tried this but I bought flea bombs for every room, and sprayed everywhere constantly using Indorex spray. Wasn't cheap but it worked. I feel for you, I was so stressed and upset, but hopefully got on top of it now.

Do you have animals bringing the fleas in? Treating them is your first line of defence- get something from the vet rather than buying off the shelf.
Flea bombs are really effective for the house, along with lots of hoovering.

Indorex good but its much cheaper to buy online than from vets as you'll probably need a couple of cans to fully do a house. Treat vacumn canister or put flea collar in as they can live in it.
If you've pets that are hosting them then would get advice from your vets on treatment to use as some aren't as effective as used to be.

Put a flea collar in your Hoover to kill the ones you Hoover up, and make sure to empty each time and double bag.

They are persistent little fuckers so you need to be too - daily hoovering, regular bombing, washing soft furnishings on hot etc. Stick at it religiously for a few weeks and you should get them.

Also, if you have really itchy flea bites use a hair dryer on them, as hot as you can stand for as long as you can stand. Sounds odd but stops them itching for hours.
