What do you have on your floors?

We have have a 5 month old puppy who is house trained as long as there are no rugs down.

We've thrown all our old rugs out but it's really cold and uncomfortable now so I'd like to re-introduce something, any suggestions?

I think there is a chemical in a lot of synthetic rugs that must smell like urine to animals as everytime without fail when I’ve bought a synthetic rug it’s been peed on!

I have had sheepskin rugs and cowhide rugs before and they have never been peed on so I would say a natural material like that might be fine although the whole ‘sheepskin is easy to keep clean’ line that is trotted out is bullshit, you have to brush and vacuum and shake it out very regularly.
We got rid of ours in the end as it was aggravating DS and DM asthma due to the extreme amount of dust trapped within it.

The Braided Rug Company and Hug Rugs sell nice machine washable rugs. (I had to find them because I have a cat that likes to wee on things Angry)
