Does your dog swim?

Just curious really. Took mine to the beach for the first time ever yesterday (we don’t live near the coast) and while he got in the sea he quickly got out again.

one of mine hates water wont swim. The other one is a nightmare. He dives straight in rivers, puddles and muddy bogs.

The only water my dog doesn't like is clean, warm and accompanied by shampoo.

My jack russel x mongrel hates water with a passion, unfortunately. Almost took her back to the dogs home when she didn’t immediately jump in a lake

My lab (7 months) absolutely loves swimming. He can sniff out water even if we can't see it. He will go down the steepest of banks to get in and thoroughly enjoys being in the water. He will go through every puddle he sees, doesn't matter how shallow, just to have a splash about but open the back door on a rainy morning and he refuses to go out for a wee. He stands there with one front paw over the threshold and the other in the air then comes back in!
