JRT pup rips his beds to shreds. Just makes holes and then pulls the fluff out all over the place. Sometimes bites all the piping from around the edge, just to mix things up a bit. Has done 3 to date.

I’m thinking plastic bed with a blanket/vet bedding as liner, unless any of you have any better ideas? I’d be very interested in which case!

Maybe your dog is not a dog bed dog. Mine don't like dog beds they have their spot on the floor or sofa. I put a blanket on the sofa. Two of them prefer just a cold floor.

I have been considering all the memory foam beds but at £100ish I am not convinced that they will survive. Interested to hear if anyone has any labrador proof beds

He does prefer the sofa when in the lounge or the rug in front of the stove sometimes in the kitchen so you may be right, Tea.

I would just go for a plastic bed with some vet bed in it (can get that off eBay) it's what all the people with chewers go for in my dog group.

Our lab shredded all bedding (and the occasional sofa, carpet, shoes....), until he was 18 months. There is a saying for labradors - Chew until they're two; shed until they're dead. Many dogs chew into adolescence then just stop.

We ended up just buying vet bed until he grew out of it. Then bought an Orvis memory foam bed in a sale which has lasted 5 years now.

HiK9 beds are what my local kennels use and my dogs love sleeping on them.

They look good Tatum, thanks.
