Oral Papilloma

Dog has a small oral papilloma - noticed it a just before the weekend and vet checked it today. Given 3 options:

a) it will probably drop off in 3 - 6 months
b) it could be operated on
c) it could be frozen off

Vet said he'd go for 'it will probably drop off' but to keep an eye on it in case it ulcerates and then dog could end up with more of them.

What do people reckon? First dog, so not encountered this before in my pet owning excitements. Rodent ulcers in cats, oh yes but not this. I'm mostly with vet and letting it drop off (fingers crossed).
