Neutering

My dog was neutered about two months ago.

I have just noticed the ends of a stitch (two ends) poking out of his skin.

They are definitely ends of a stitch.

They are quite hard to touch.

He's going back the vets tomorrow so they can have a look.

I thought they used dissolvable stitches.

If it's not a dissolvable stitch would you expect them to remove it? Would you expect them to charge for it?
