Best anti-pull leads??

I have a chunky six month old spaniel that I am struggling to walk. I have mobility problems and he's pulled me over a couple of times. As it stands I can't actually risk walking him at all (children and husband do it instead) which is making me really sad. Is there a solution?? He's trained to walk nicely on the lead but the minute he sees a bike/runner/other dog then it goes out of the window!

If he can walk well and it is for your safety I would recommend a harness, head collar and double lead combination

The perfect fit harness is fantastic and when you are walking him the pressure will be on the harness. The other end of the lead will be attached to the headcollar so if he lunges or pulls (and risks pulling you over) you can gently redivert him using the head collar.

This situation is the only time I would recommend a head collar but your safety is important and if he knocks you over his safety is also compromised.

DDog also has a tendency to walk nicely, and then suddenly yank after something he's seen.

After he managed to partially dislocate my elbow (close pass from a pavement cyclist), and caused some nasty soft tissue damage to a family member's arm when he saw a cat (we both have underlying health issues that make this more likely) I got a bungee lead extension.

Taking the shock out of his ability to pull really does make a difference, and it also allows me a second to brace against the incoming lead yank.
