Dog with a pink eye - help!

My dog has a pink eye with a little discharge. It started yesterday. I have been bathing it, in sterile salt water, every couple of hours. Does anyone know if I can purchase an antibiotic eye drop for dogs, without going to the vets? Thank you.

I would be ringing the vet for advice. You could be dealing with anything.

Antibiotic no.
A cooled teabag may help.
Or my dog trainer suggests Brolene or Goldeneye drops.
But i wouldn’t want to take a risk with eyes. Any chance a grass seed has got in?

I wouldn't take a risk with an eye. I would be seeing a vet.

Is it pink and swollen in the corner of his eye? What breed is he?

He is a cockapoo. His eye seems to have stopped weeping by bed time. I'm going to carry on wiping him with salt water, every couple of hours. If it hasn't gone by Friday, I shall book him an appointment at the vets. Thanks everyone, really appreciate it.
