Ridiculous Hound Pics Thread

Slightly egged on by some posters (you know who you are) on my previous attention seeking thread, here is a call to all hound owners to post their most silly pics - the more the merrier.

Whether your canine companion is all elbows and knees in true sighthound fashion or more snuggly and rounded or indeed a Heinz57 variety mutt, all are welcome!

I'll start with 2 pics - the mildly and alarmingly pornographic one, and one more suitable to the work place.

Oof jengles, that photo made me do a little happy-cry. My Lurcher, Morse, died last year and used to sleep exactly like that. We used to say that he looked like a broken deckchair! It was like Jenga, trying to shift bits of him around so I could sit on the settee too.

Gravity always got his tongue too, and he had to have a slurpy wrestle with it to get it back in his mouth when he woke up, because it had gone like cardboard! 😍

Can't post a photo because it's still too painful for me, but I'm enjoying all the others.

Following on from the ‘ there’s a deer leg in the garden ‘ thread here’s mine with her venison ear ( she’s not the dog featured in the thread but noted the website where treats come from )

Not hounds but a squishy boy and a fluffy boy. They might look angelic but the pug hates everything except me and food and the chihuahua is a prolific chewer

When our lurchers slept we called the two positions 'round dog' or 'long dog'. Miss them muchly.

The choices are endless! The first ones are of our reasonably newly acquired Friesian whippet (although I think there might be greyhound there as she is huge).
