Maggot in pooh???

Sorry for the horrible topic! My 4 month old golden retriever had a pooh this morning outside and when we bagged it up there was what looked very much like a maggot around it. There weren’t anymore obviously on the path so I’m sure it was from the pooh. Is this possible? It didn’t look like any of the pictures of common worms that I’ve googled and she was wormed a couple of weeks ago. She had diarrhoea a week or so ago and a stool sample from that time didn’t grow anything. She’s absolutely fine in herself. Any ideas how this could be? Thank you!

I'd worm her again. What was she wormed with last time? Pups should be wormed monthly anyway as they can have encysted worms that they acquired before they were born

I’m not sure of the name but the vet said it should last 6 months. The first lot she had must have been a different brand as that only lasted a month. Waiting for the vet to phone back! Thanks for replying CMOTdibbler
