Growth on dogs cheek

Can anyone help?

Our 11 year old Westie has a growth on his cheek, is there a way to tell what it could be?

I think only a vet could do that .💐 it’s always a worry- but older dogs are prone to growing lumps and bumps- hopefully it will turn out to be harmless
