No soubriquet she’s a dainty lapdog! Grin

A lapdog.

I find my 6 kg lump hard as a lapdog compared to my 2kg fairy.

A wolfhound as a lapdog for me would probably smother me Grin

Will definitely be looking again later on in the year

Love this thread! @Wolfiefan your pups are so gorgeous (and I always look for you on doghouse threads because I love your no nonsense advice and knowledge!)

@MistyIsland love it here.
@TeddyIsaHe I think you’re one of the few! Others have called me a “cunt” for that advice. Hmm
And any knowledge I have is from all the lovely owners and trainers and behaviourists who have supported me with my dogs. A wolfhound for a first dog is not an easy start. Grin

@Wolfiefan beautiful! Makes my heart melt.

I was discussing with Mr Misty about what dog we will have next, and I think we have decided on a wolfhound, sadly won’t be till later on in the year or early next year.

@MistyIsland. Contact the breed club. They can steer you to decent breeders. There are a few groups on FB, the community for instance, where people can ask questions. Definitely do your research. Parents should be heart tested before breeding and puppies liver shunt tested before they go home. Feel free to PM me. X

Teen dd desperately wanted a wolfhound.. Told her she can wait until she has a big enough house!!

Report
Wolfiefan · 29/06/2020 11:16

@Sunnydayshereatlast it’s not the size of the house! It’s the cost (vet bills are big!), space to exercise and a car/van big enough to fit it in!!

Sunnydayshereatlast · 29/06/2020 14:30

Does your hound not fold up? Ours like stretched out full size. Ukle our Lurchers of small stature who have a dcat bed each!

She has a single mattress for a bed. She can often be found stretched out full length, legs in the air. Next to the bed! Grin
