Can sleepiness be a sign if impending season?

My puppy is about the right age to go into season and has been really tired today...she enjoyed her walk and was as active as normal but has otherwise slept most of the day. It's much cooler than it has been so I don't think it's the weather. She's normally following me about everywhere!

Could it be the first sign? Neither of my previous dogs has been like this.

I have literally have no clue tbh because we have a dog. Thought I’d reply to give your thread a bump. 🙂

Mine got clingy, sleepy, ravenous..and then went off her food. She definitely slept more!
Mine's now due her second season any day now and has been moody and demanding the last few days...and off her food. I'm looking forward to her being able to be spayed (over 18m for my breed)!

Mine acts as normal other than weeing about 2x as often as normal when out on walks. She can also get a bit restless. Then her arse starts to baboon, and it's unmistakable and I make a note of the date and start counting down to the end.

Oh yes the extra weeing... mine generally has a bladder of steel and can easily go 12 hours without a wee, but she's currently doing lots of little ones when out and about in a 'smell me !' kind of a way...

3 weeks on a long line coming up soon :/
