pups and hot weather

New to this owning a dog
I know you've not to walk them in the afternoon only when it's cooler and make sure there's plenty of water

The flat has every window open wide to create a nice draft lol fresh water and a chew toy in the freezer but is it normal for pups to be less active with this heat and a bit sleepy ie he is eating and drinking and does play for a bit then lies down (10 weeks old) are any other pups out there the same

My dog just wants to lie on the kitchen floor and sleep when it's like this. Dogs aren't daft, they know it's sensible to take it easy when it's hot.

Yeh our pup just zonks out all day when it’s like this. I walked him at 5.30 this morning.

Our 10 week old puppy has been in the shade in the garden for brief periods of time, and the rest of the time he's been lying on our slate hearth.

I've given him ice cubes and a frozen broccoli stalk, which he heartily enjoyed.

Totally normal - our 2.5yo old beagle pretty much sleeps all day when the weather is this hot!
