Ddog is 12 and has never really been a smelly, farty kind of dog. No changes in diet etc, yet all of a sudden she absolutely stinks. She did such a loud one tonight, she woke herself up and ran away from it Grin

Is this just something that happens sometimes when they get older? She’s very fit and active - can still walk 5 or 6 miles no problem - and is in great health, poos are normal and healthy looking, no change in appetite or anything like that. She just stinks Envy (not envy!!!) Grin

What breed is she? Greyhounds are notoriously farty and there are lots of suggestions, natural yoghurt, going grain free, gasmasks. If she's not a farty breed maybe try thinking of it in old people terms. Sometimes older people are more affected by rich foods as their digestive systems slow down so try using fish based foods/ kibble rather than meaty ones. If she doesn't seem bothered by it other than the farts by having loose stools often or drinking and weeing more because the food's affecting her now is the best time to embrace it, lots of face masks around Grin

She’s collie x. She’s grain free already, generally eats AATU kibble plus Forthglade wet food, natural treats and the odd raw bone for her teeth. Might try switching to a fish based food when we’re down this current bag. She is drinking a lot just lately though, but I put that down to the warm weather. No loose stools or anything, all looks normal.
