If you have a dog, what vacuum cleaner do you have?

I need recommendations for a vacuum cleaner for a house with 2 cats and a dog, and 4 females with long hair. The dyson would get the long hair caught every week and my new Henry is good on hard floors but not getting the hair up on carpets.

Please can I ask for recommendations and what to avoid?

Shark with anti hair wrap feature has cracked it for me. Horrified at just how much muck and hair it collects compared to my previous vac.

A Sebo. It has done sterling work for donkey's years.

Another vote for Sebo. 2 labs here. Does the job.

4 ddogs, 1 dcat, 3 humans with long hair...
Gave up on Dyson and bought a Hetty Pet.

Miele c3. Three long haired humans and loads of hairy dogs. Turbo head for carpets.

Roomba - we go for the 'little and very often' approach to keeping on top of the hair from 3 dogs.

I have a dyson v10 which is fab. I also have a robot hoover - a roomba 960. He does a sweep after breakfast & after dinner. I can also switch it on via an app. The amount of dog hair he picks up is crazy.
My downstairs is open plan which works with this type of hoover.
