Mid price complete food recommendations

I am looking for recommendations
My 3 y. o. lurcher has dry food topped up with extras like leftovers eg meat, fish, veg, odd tin of fish, egg etc.
We have yet to find a dry complete food that's reasonable quality, she likes, doesn't make her poo for England (aldi), doesn't make her lose weight because she either hardly eats it, or some other reason (skinners puppy food(best so far), gain greyhound, wagg, barking heads), or give her loose stools (James wellbelovwd) or very dry ones (gain)
We haven't swapped these frequently and caused stomach upsets, she's tried them for a couple of 15kg sacks worth each time.

There's others we've tried too I'm sure,(think nakers, wainwright, royal canin) but nothing great so far.
Needs to be not too £££, and something she likes, doesn't upset her stomach, and she keeps a steady weight on (or even puts it on)

I have found AVA (I think it's Pets At Home own brand?) very good, especially quality for the price.
I looked at this brilliant website which posters here often recommended- allaboutdogfood.co.uk. It gives you info on ingredients, pricing and a nutritional rating.

I'm a second one for the AVA Pets at Home food. Not too expensive and good quality.
The normal one is good but I now give my dog the "sensitive skin and stomach" one, I have a staffie and he has a bad stomach with a lot of foods and since he's been on this I've found it to be loads better!
Our pup is on the puppy version too!

Mine like barking heads dry with half a wet pouch topper. And they're fussy Tibetan terriers.

We use Lily's Kitchen for our lab, suits her best so far although she's got quite a bulletproof stomach!

I have a fussy Tibetan Terrier too! The only food he'll eat is Hills science plan

Our ddoog has been eating Fisherman's finest salmon and potato for years Another Pets at Home brand. He has small breed sensitive stomach. Text book poo!!

I have a springer spaniel with inflammatory bowel disease - she can not tolerate most foods. We have been feeding her on Purina HA for about a year now - it's brilliant and her digestive system has never been so good!
It can't be bought from pet shops, but is available from Amazon, we get it from a company called Violet. I have found it works out much the same cost wise as any of the other foods we used to buy for her before.

Forgot to mention that her current food is giving her itchy skin/dandruff. Which of the above would avoid this as well?

Our lab has always been on Autarky. He always has a beautiful shiny coat and no tummy trouble. I buy it on subscription from Amazon.

It sounds like she has underlying sensitivities to some ingredients do I'd go with a sensitive food like purina HA or one with limited ingredient like Fisherman's finest

I use a company called Essentials for my delicate tummy terrier.

@Rollerbird wheat is an common allergen for dogs. Be aware of ingredients when buying dog food.

I mine have Autarki with some raw chicken mince. Fussy Tibetans, don't like dry kibble, but the meat does add a tasty twist without the smells / problems associated with tin / pouch meat.

I know some say don't mix the two, but mine are fine, fit and healthy. The meat gives them lovelyshinycoat. My vet isn't concerned either... dogs are scavengers, they literally eat any crap.

If she lost weight on Skinner's puppy, you could try her on one of their foods aimed at dogs in work - Working 24 I think it's called. They also do ones aimed more at dogs with intolerances like their salmon one.

That Purina HA doesnt contain any meat! The AVA stuff is fish based and has no wheat

My lurchers have Vitalin sensitive or Burns Free From with added wet food - Butchers, Burns, or chubb roll (smells disgusting, but they adore it and no wheat)

The purina HA is recommended for all allergies - our dog has itchy skin too!

I've not tried it, but I have heard amazing things about Chappie being very digestive friendly, good for poos, and more importantly, liked by dogs . It's affordable, good food, and the reviews are consistently rave ones. I wonder if there are any Chappie feeders out there who can confirm this.

Our dog eats AATU, which is pricey but excellent. I would like to look for an alternative because he's not mad keen on AATU and I feel like he's not really enjoying his food.

Another vote for Autarky. My spaniel has been having that for a few years. Prices vary quite a lot between flavours, I think the Salmon one is the most expensive. They often sell it in Costco too, cheaper than Amazon. Although I try to buy local and they price matche Amazon.

Our hound has the Pets at Home Step Up Naturals dry food and absolutely loves it. We get the 14kg bag and it's reasonably priced.

We've also used the Step Up naturals sensitive which went down well with her.

I feed mine Canine Choice. Look it up in the all about dog food website.

Highly rated, free delivery and more importantly it totally cleared up my dogs itchy, scurfy coat.
