Hoping for some advice. We have a lovely 6mo working cocker spaniel and we are trying to stick to the exercise recommendations so not walking him more than 30 mins at a time at present but I'm just trying to plan for when we can go for longer trips.
Would it be ok to say walk for half an hour then sit on a rug for an hour or two then walk 30 minutes back? Or in a few months time could we take him for a day at the beach (lockdown permitting!).
Also what training can we do to prepare him for day trips? At the moment the thought of trying to eat a picnic with him there is laughable! Also not sure if he'd nap outside on a rug.
Any advice gratefully received!
