Yes, same here.

Every Thursday night we had fireworks, screaming and people banging on saucepans until some people started to complain. Even so, now every Thursday, when my dog hears the clapping start she begins to panic.

Friday morning I picked her up from the vet after a 2 day stay in hospital. The last thing she needed just before going to bed for the night was to be rushing about trying get away from the terrifying bangs coming from outside.

It's got to the stage now that if she hears any bang from outside she starts panicking.

I'm so sick of fireworks. It seems like any excuse and people want to set light to things packed with dynamite.

Seems like the irony of marking VE day with things that sound like bombs exploding has been lost of some people.
