Tell me about behaviour problems you have with your dog!

I am interested in the types of problems people are having with their dog. I am setting up my own dog behaviour business so am doing some research into this. I have been working with dogs for years and done loads of courses with a big emphasis on welfare and positive reinforcement. Pic of my dog just because.

1. What has been the biggest behaviour problem you have had with your dog?

1. How would having a solution to this behaviour problem help you?

1. On a scale of 1 - 5 how difficult has this behaviour problem been to solve. 1 not difficult to 5 very difficult.

I know a fair few trainers and the ones who impress me most are the ones whose dogs are both really happy and extremely obedient, particularly if those dogs are high-drive into the bargain.

Done it. Barking at nothing when we go out, very excitable and friendly. If he sees people or dogs he barks. He wants to get over to them to say hello. He is not aggressive, just a loon.

Oh my goodness, I have a whole thread up for my current dog issues... I'm not sure we'll gwt their with DDog either

Anyway, I'll do your questions. And grumpymiddleagedwoman my trainer is excellent and has an impeccably behaved dog with high prey drive! I've seen lots of videos of him on her business page but not met him.

I think one of the most difficult and common problems is the separation anxiety (I'm sure that this issue will peak post lockdown when people will return to their regular jobs away from home). If you would be able to help people and pups dealing with this, I'm sure your services will be in high demand.
