Ddog my 5 year old cocker has his 3rd bout of d and v. Spaced over last 2 years not especially frequent.
1st attack vet gave anti sickness jab. Did nothing and he recovered on his own
2nd he got better on his own though blood in poo.
This attack much less puking but it's been puke since Friday evening. Poo is runny with blood .
He's tired but responsive and will follow me around and such.
Ideas?

Please phone the emergency vet to get advice. They are there to help

The bloody poo worries me. Have you spoken to a vet?
nevernotstruggling · 26/04/2020 17:28
@MiniChoc I'm calling in the morning if no change. This happened last time - looks horrific but no real drama he got over it. I'm trying to avoid the vet unless it's critical

I’d he’s being actively unwell for that long - I’d be a bit worried about him getting really dehydrated tbh.
Do you know how to check for that?
Is he still eating and drinking?
nevernotstruggling · 26/04/2020 18:15
@tabulahrasa he's been drinking the whole time. He's not really showing signs of dehydration the vet taught me how to check. He had his tea Friday night then no appetite until about 5 minutes ago when he's just accepted some grated cheese!
