Very active Collie, help!

I live in the IOM. Rules here are anyone showing symptoms total lockdown family don't leave the house for 14 days. The minute another family member shows symptoms the 14 days starts again.

I can cope with homeschooling. I can cope with the kids driving me nuts.

What on earth do I do with my dog?! I've done all the normal stuff. He is from farm stock and is used to going fell running.

I adore him but I'm starting to wonder if I need to re-home him for his sake.

We could be 12 out of 14 days done and someone else shows symptoms and it starts again. What do I do?!

Our dog isn’t quite as high maintenance as a collie from working stock, but she is a high energy puppy with bags of energy.

We’ve been on lockdown 2 days but we were self isolating for a week before that.
I ordered some new toys and chews, so they’re new and exciting.
I do training and learning a new trick every few days to keep her mind active (your collie may be smarter and need a new trick each day!) currently trying to teach her to wipe her feet when she comes in from outside..

We each spend about 25 mins a day (on top of usual garden play time) in the garden throwing the ball around / playing tug with toys etc.

And all her meals are in puzzle feeders, or I wrap the kibble in a blanket and roll and tie it, or throw the kibble around and she has to catch or chase it, or I throw a handful of it on the grass outside and she has to forage.
She’s not super food motivated, so it’s hit and miss, but I think she enjoys finding it even if she doesn’t eat it.

Could you try some agility or obstacle courses around the garden?
Get the kids to hide food under buckets and toys in the garden and set up a course for the dog to do?
Incorporate ddog into any non joe wicks pe ‘class’ the kids are having? Or have dc create a ‘lesson plan’ for the dog as part of their ‘homework’, and then they can teach her the lesson they’ve planned - Depending how old they are!

Can you practice any other fitness things - have you seen canine conditioning on Facebook. That may be physically tiring in a new way?

It doesn't 'start again'. People who have symptoms are clear 7 days after their symptoms started and everyone else in their household is clear 14 days after the first persons' symptoms started.

You’re thinking of rehoming her due to this???

Buy some toys and teach her some tricks ffs!!!
