Kennel cough

Ddog has kennel cough. It started Thursday and diagnosed Friday. Vet gave us tablets and eye drops(caused a gooey sore eye too).

I know it’s early days in that we are only 2 days into treatment but he’s so uncomfortable bless him, every time he exerts himself in anyway, even to the door he’s coughing a lot. Is there anything I can do to soothe his throat?

Tixylix for babies , my dog loves it .

Kennel cough lasts weeks. But yes baby cough mixture can be helpful. The cough sounds awful though, hope your ddog feels better soon.
