Seems odd colour

My 5 yo whippet boy hasn't seemed himself in the last few days. He's been sleeping loads, looks sad and just doesn't seem himself to me. But on the other hand he has been playing with our other dog and seems to be eating as normal.

I've put off a visit to the vets for now but should I get him an appointment when I can?

Just noticed the thread title! Bloody autocorrect. He's not an odd colour at all!!! Off colour is what it should say!

Yes, you should.

Could be any number of reasons. My friend's husky recently had a massive hair ball that needed operating on to get out! Only symptom was being a bit off colour.

Any chance he couldve bashed into something and hurt himself? My oldest whippet does this sometimes, he'll bang his butt/chest on a tree running around and feels very sorry for himself after. Also he spends a day or two with the hump if he stings himself on stinging nettles!! You know your dog better than anyone, so if he doesn't seem himself, speak to the vet.
